Direct Hire Opportunity for an experienced Diesel/Heavy Equipment mechanic

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, where you will leverage your expertise in diesel engines and heavy machinery to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. In this hands-on role, you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of heavy equipment and generators, while also utilizing the latest technology in remote assistance. With over five years of experience, you will become an integral part of our preventative maintenance initiatives, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety.
• Job Type: Full-time , Direct Hire
• Pay Rate: Weekly pay $38-40/hr
• Shift: Standard 8-5 shift with some overtime/ on-call one weekend a month
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed maintenance inspections and repairs on heavy equipment and generators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues using diagnostic software and Oculus X for remote assistance.
• Read and interpret schematics and maintenance manuals for accurate repairs.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for our vehicle fleet.
• Maintain organized records of all maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in electrical and drive train systems.
• Experienced with various diagnostic software and equipment brands.
• High School diploma or equivalent; related certifications are a plus.
• Capable of performing in fast-paced environments with a strong work ethic.
• Must own a set of tools and possess excellent organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and a strong orientation towards safety.
