Kelly Services is seeking experienced Grinder in Carol Stream, IL. Experience with Grinder Surface Machines is needed.

This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Shifts and pay available:
1st shift, 6:30am- 3pm
$20/hr. - $26/hr., depending on experience

Responsibilities
Operate grinding machines to produce precision parts and components.
Adhere to quality assurance protocols and safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and quality.
Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Experience
ID/OD Grinder Surface Machines
Proven experience in a machining or manufacturing environment, preferably as a grinder.
Experience with Grinder Surface Machines is needed.
Able to read and interpret product drawings, BOM's.
Experience in product operations, including general machining, understanding of metric system, polishing and assembly.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Machining certification a plus.
Experience running a Studer a plus.
Needs a steady work history.
