Description

Kelly Services is seeking a Business Analyst/Grant Writer for a temp to hire opportunity for a waste management company in Grove City, OH. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, identifying, and developing funding sources to support existing and future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires exceptional grant-writing skills to prepare high-quality proposals, narratives, applications, and supporting documents for government, corporate, and private funding agencies. Additionally, this individual will contribute to financial analysis, internal process improvements, and program development to ensure the efficient use of resources.

  • Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities from government, corporate, and private sources.
  • Develop, write, and submit grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents in compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with funding agencies and stakeholders to enhance grant success rates.
  • Track and monitor grant proposals, expenditures, and financial metrics to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Develop expenditure and income budgets for grant-funded projects.
  • Support Accounting and Finance teams with financial analysis, reconciliation, and documentation of internal processes.
  • Analyze and document internal business practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Meet with internal teams to align funding efforts with organizational priorities.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to maximize funding impact.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, preferably in a public or nonprofit organization.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal development.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monday- Friday at 8am-5pm with opportunity to work a Hybrid schedule
  • Must live 30-45 minutes from Grove City
  • Payrate: $ 38.00-45.00 an hour
