GIS Technician Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the company's GIS data, including creating, updating, editing, and reviewing spatial data as well as acquiring and converting data from various sources
• Evaluates and analyze written materials critically, synthesizing information from multiple sources and will produce professional-quality hard copy maps and data outputs.
• Utilize ESRI's suite of products (ArcGIS 10.x including ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox)
• Support on GIS related projects

GIS Technician Requirements:

• Previous experience with a GIS system- exposure in an educational setting is acceptable
• AS or BS in a related discipline preferred
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
