Role: Billing Clerk
Location: Des Moines, IA 100% onsite
Pay: $20-23/hr. ideally
Hours: 7-4, 8:4:30, 8-5 M-F
Duration: Contract through the end of the year
Responsibilities:
- Pick up the paperwork from the production area, shipping docs, sort through
- It will be scanned out
- Match to BOL that guard shack has
- Full freight rate for trucking company and calculate how much freight on each
- Pull up in canopy and ensure the weights match, enter the freight rate and enter it
- Scan at the end of the day, paperless
- Its one in billing then accounts receivable person, smaller department
- Open to other types of billing experience, attention to detail
- This role is accountable for guiding the life cycle of the order, sorting shipping documents, entering invoice into our system and scanning and attaching all documents to invoice.
- Assists claims department on matters related to incorrect or rejected orders.
- Maintain and update documents related to customer
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2+ years' relevant billing experience, required.
- Freight billing preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
