Role: Billing Clerk
Location: Des Moines, IA 100% onsite
Pay: $20-23/hr. ideally
Hours: 7-4, 8:4:30, 8-5 M-F
Duration: Contract through the end of the year

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the paperwork from the production area, shipping docs, sort through
• It will be scanned out
• Match to BOL that guard shack has
• Full freight rate for trucking company and calculate how much freight on each
• Pull up in canopy and ensure the weights match, enter the freight rate and enter it
• Scan at the end of the day, paperless
• Its one in billing then accounts receivable person, smaller department
• Open to other types of billing experience, attention to detail
• This role is accountable for guiding the life cycle of the order, sorting shipping documents, entering invoice into our system and scanning and attaching all documents to invoice.
• Assists claims department on matters related to incorrect or rejected orders.
• Maintain and update documents related to customer

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 2+ years' relevant billing experience, required.
• Freight billing preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
