Kelly is hiring Forklift Drivers to work at a premier food manufacturing facility in Rome, GA.
Temporary position, last week of March through April 8. Opportunity for long term role at job completion for those with good attendance and performance.
Pay Rate: $24 per hour. Paid weekly.
Schedules: 12-hour shifts working 2 on/2 off, then 3 on/3 off working every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Choose from: Day shift 6 am to 6 pm or Night shift 6 pm to 6 am. Example: work Mon, Tue. Off Wed Thurs. Work Fri, Sat, Sun. Off Mon, Tues, Wed.
What's a typical day as a Forklift Operator?
• Prepare and complete pallets and warehouse orders for delivery or pickup
• Maintain shipping supplies to ensure order ships on schedule
• Receive and process warehouse stock
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location
• Inform supervisor of inventory issues, supply shortages, & shipping issues
• Load and unload trucks
• Inspect incoming and outgoing material to ensure quality, quantity, and item accuracy
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location
• Prepare records and reports as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have basic computer knowledge, including the use of Microsoft Office products
• Have 1 year of experience in a manufacturing warehouse, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility
• Have 1 year forklift of experience
• Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
• Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the day
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
The Rome GA Site makes breading for chicken. Allergens: Allergens that are part of their product – soy, wheat, egg, milk
**Smoke and tobacco-free facility. Tobacco, vaping and smoking is prohibited on-site, including on breaks and in vehicles.
**No jewelry (rings, earrings, nose ring, studs, watch), no false eyelashes, no hair extensions, no false fingernails, no fingernail polish and no chewing gum, food, drinks or cell phone on the floor.
** Raw ingredients include soy, wheat, egg, milk, flour, sugar, salt, peppers and spices
