About the Role:

Ingram Micro is seeking a Senior Associate, Equipment Operations to join our team at our Carol Stream, IL facility. This position involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, equipment handling, and safety protocols. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Ensure equipment is operating efficiently to meet production goals.
• Assist in inventory control and ensure accuracy of equipment-related data.
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to all company safety standards.
• Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet performance goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 0 to 20 years of experience in equipment operations, machine operation, or a similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and machinery. Ability to quickly learn new systems and equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Additional Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Software Requirements: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and email systems. System access and email are required.
