Are you a skilled Fabrication Machine Operator looking for a stable, rewarding career with a company that values its employees?
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Fabrication Machine Operator to join our client's team in Livonia and Fairview, MI. This is a direct hire, permanent position with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.
What you'll do:

• Work with the Shift Leader to learn all aspects of our fabrication processes.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality parts according to manufacturing plans.
• Maintain accurate records of time and expenses.
• Conduct thorough inspections and report any discrepancies to the Shift Leader.
• Set up and process orders with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to the Standard Code of Conduct, 6S principles, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to the achievement and maintenance of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications.

What you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year college degree or applicable technical training and certification preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant fabrication experience.
• Strong fabrication and blueprint reading skills.
• Working knowledge of fabrication equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly.
• Willingness and ability to travel for 8-12 weeks for training in Fairview, MI (mileage, hotel, and meals paid by the company).
