Entry-Level Histologist – 

• $26 - $40/hour (DOE)
• Union City, CA
• Full time/Direct Hire

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Histologist to join a dynamic laboratory team in Union City, CA. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to learn and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process biological tissue samples for microscopic examination.
• Embed, section, and stain tissues using various histological techniques.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality control in specimen preparation.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Assist with additional laboratory tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a histology lab (internships or academic lab experience acceptable).
• Basic understanding of histological techniques and procedures.
• Preferred experience in FFPE and/or frozen tissue sectioning.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
