Engineering Project Manager  

  • LocationONSITE - Mahwah, New Jersey (07430)
  • Duration: 12+ month contract until 3/2026 (contract extension potential OR internal hire possibilities)
  • Type: W2 contract ( (Third-party or C2C "Corp-to-Corp" arrangements WILL NOT be considered for this role.)
  • Pay: Negotiable depending on direct-related experience
  • Work Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents.


Experience needed: Med device, Facilities utility/infrastructure, Manufacturing equipment, validation, programming, qualifications
 

Two roles open:
  • Role 1: Facilities Utilities Project manager: In charge of leading team through manufacturing equipment moves at a large scale, and utility upgrades to the plant (plastic chip collection, dust collection systems, cleanroom space modification, and MEP upgrades
  • Role 2: Lead team through manufacturing equipment acquisition, development, automation, validation, and deployment for machining equipment and inspection equipment

 

Duties Include:
  • Assist in management of multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.
  • Lead engineering projects; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Responsible to provide input of workstream business objective outlined in the Joint Replacement Project Charters.
  • Build and track overall project timeline; Monitor and mitigate overall project risks
  • Provide input for CER creation and submission; Track and manage workstream project expenses
  • Create a resource plan; Manage all project resource and prioritize tasks.
  • Responsible and accountable for delivery of project Gantt chart commitments within time, resource and budget constraints
  • Responsible and accountable for OnePPM inputs and reports
  • Set up weekly meetings with vendors, track meeting minutes and actions for individual processes
  • Identify alternative solutions and approaches to overcoming project issues/risks while proactively communicating meaningful project measurements and KPIs per expectations
