**MUST gave 1.5 years of electroplating experience OR successful completion of a Plater's training program**

Pay Rate: $20-25/HR
Schedule: 1st shift with a flexible start time between 6AM-8AM, Monday through Friday - must be able to work an occasional 3-4 hours on a Saturday
Location: Attleboro, MA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electroplater to join our team in Attleboro, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all duties related to cleaning and plating customer parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Practice safe working habits in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Plating Process: Follow cleaning, plating, and drying procedures as outlined in the Job Traveler or as per verbal instructions from the line leader, adhering to Level 2, EOP09001 - Process Control Procedure.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate effectively with Quality Control to ensure product acceptability.
  • Material Handling: Manually move baskets, racks, and barrels (up to 50 lbs.) through specified processes.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment required to safely perform job duties across the facility.
  • Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Maintain quality records for such tasks.
  • Solution Preparation: Make up and add to plating and cleaning solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving process-related issues.
  • Team Support: Contribute to other plating tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of electroplating experience or successful completion of a Plater's training program.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math operations, compute ratios, rates, and percentages, and interpret statistical process control information accurately.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 25-50 pounds frequently, and 10-20 pounds constantly.
    • Regular reaching and extending hands/arms in various directions (1/3 to 2/3 of the time).
    • Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic experience in electroplating.
  • Familiarity with using calculators, including ten-key and handheld devices.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
