Education Logistics Assistant – Warsaw, IN

KellySETT, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is seeking a Material Handler for a long term position with one of our Global Clients based in Colorado Springs, CO.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401k, and paid time off.

Title: Education Logistics Assistant
Location: Warsaw (46582)
Pay: open; plus benefits and PTO
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Duration: long term contract (no end date)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process equipment orders, inventory counts and provide updates in software system.
  • Individual will interface with Marketing, Professional Education, Sales and Meeting Services for demo and display requirements. 
  • Schedule and prepare paperwork for domestic and international shipments to include carrier required documents as well as customs required documents
  • Assist with data entry for various software systems as needed
  • Maintaining and organizing stock levels of disposables, consumables and products
  • Conducting audits (cycle counts)
  • Scheduling Equipment Repairs 
  • Preparing necessary reports for labs/events (internal and external)
  • Assist with administration of various product programs and ordering of various components from multiple vendors
  • Assist with consumable and client product purchases using eMarketplace and GSOnestop
  • Manage flow of deliveries in and out of facility
  • ERD Entity Relationship Diagram (recycling and destruction) of expired or old product
  • Updating, charging & repairs (as needed) of Barcode Scanners used w/ FileMaker Pro Advanced
  • Purchasing of shipping supplies
  • Assist with maintaining equipment for sales demos, displays/exhibits, professional education, company meetings, cadaver labs, sales training and workshops.
  • Maintain consistency of set contents.
  • Prepare paperwork for international shipments to include carrier required documents as well as Customs required documents.
  • Schedule etching of new education material as required.
  • Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.
  • Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.
  • Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area. Promote safety to all associates that enter work area.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma is required
  • Some warehouse/distribution experience is preferred
  • Shipping experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Basic math skills
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Ability to photocopy, print, file, and compile necessary data entry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
