Construction Site Logistics/Document Control
Augusta Georgia
- Shift: M-F 8a-5p (Possible Saturdays if they are behind schedule)
- Salary: $27-30/hr
- Length of Assignment: 6-8 Months
- The Site Document Controller will assume the duty of document control and logistics support to optimize workflow procedures on the project site.
- Coordinate freight travels to construction sites.
- Coordinate with ports to ensure offloading went accordingly.
- Match part numbers from German to English also translated measurements.
- Inspect new shipments to assure parts were accounted for and tracked and upload to database to reflect what was accounted for on site.
- Order parts that are missing from report to ensure they made it on site for build
- Demonstrable safety knowledge
- Exposure to large industrial construction projects, particularly greenfield projects
- Proven work experience in document control and logistics
- Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
- A high degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP a plus
- High school diploma
- Able to wear steel toe shoes to work
