Direct Hire Field Service Technician
Location: Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul Area
Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Kelly has partnered with a premier company seeking qualified Field Service Technicians to provide on-site service and repair for truck-mounted equipment used in railroad service vehicles. This includes cranes, hydraulics, rail conversion equipment, winches, and various electrical components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover an assigned geographical service area using a company vehicle.
- Communicate with customers to diagnose and understand issues.
- Perform necessary repairs and modifications on truck-mounted equipment.
- Accurately estimate time and materials required for repairs.
- Solve problems independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience.
- Proficient in automotive troubleshooting.
- Preferred knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals.
- Experience with welding and cutting torches is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
