Job Title: Debug Technician
Location: Florence, KY
Duration: 4+ months (with strong potential for temp-to-hire!)
Shifts: Multiple shifts/days available! Overtime available!

Are you ready to leverage your deep understanding of electronics and mechanical systems in a dynamic and evolving environment? Join our team at one of the leading companies in the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing industry as a Debug Technician. Utilize your proficiency in hardware, networking concepts, and Linux at an intermediate level to troubleshoot and debug hardware and electronic circuit boards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize proficiency in hardware knowledge, networking concepts, and Linux domain at an intermediate level for debugging hardware and electronic circuit boards.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity.

Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Basic Knowledge in Linux
  • Ability to load 25 pounds – Technicians must move servers and assist other techs in moving servers from storage racks to debug racks and benches.
  • Ability to remain standing on feet for extended periods.
  • Good understanding of SSH or Telnet
  • Good understanding of how POST works
  • Basic understanding of PCIe
  • Basic knowledge of BMC

Preferable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware components.
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity.
  • Experience or basic knowledge using tools such as ethtool, ncat, ipmitool, and smartctl.
  • Experience with file transfer via SSH.
  • Experience or basic knowledge of ECC.
