Data Analyst Auditor
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Data Analyst Auditor for one of our top clients in Raynham, MA.
DESCRIPTION & OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person hired for this position will be responsible for the annual audits of this inventory (scheduling/preparation, ensuring count execution and inventory reconciliation) for the Trauma/CMF divisions.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Drive the end-to-end field audit process by working closely with field Sales Consultants and Sales Leaders
- Assist Sales Consultants and WIS (third party auditors) in preparing for audits
- Obtain Sales Consultant feedback regarding scheduling/credentialing requirements for the hospitals they service
- Inventory reconciliation - identify items missed in the count, and ensure they are found during reconciliation phase
- Communicate variance information to Sales Consultants and sales leadership at all phases of reconciliation. Identify action items required for reconciliation.
- Report inventory process gaps as identified through the audit process. Proposal of resolutions where applicable.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the inventory management/audit processes, and how they impact each other. Educate the sales force on the audit process to ensure accurate results.
- Partner with various departments including Commercial Operations, Field Sales Organization, Finance, Distribution, Legal/Compliance, and Customer Service to resolve inventory issues.
- Comply with all compliance policies and procedures (internal audit, SOX, PwC) in addition to records retention policies.
- Assist other audit teams as necessary.
- Ad Hoc reporting as required. Up to 5% travel.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience required (v-lookups / pivot tables)
- Previous inventory or audit experience preferred (preferably in medical devices)
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Communication skills - ability to interpret complex data sets and articulate relevant information to Sales Consultants
- Interpersonal skills - ability to build rapport and trust with Sales Consultants & Sales Leaders
- Financial acumen - basic accounting principles and ability to understand how the inventory process impacts a company's financial statements
- Ability to analyze complex inventory data and turn them into easy-to-understand insights
- Ability to work in an open office environment
- Ability to work under the pressure of reporting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and prioritize deliverables with little supervision
- Ability to present yourself professionally in face-to-face interactions and Zoom meetings
- Strong written and oral communication/interpersonal skills
- Strict attention to detail
