Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM
$25.00/HR
Customer Service Representative
About:
- Heavy phone/email interaction with customers and salesmen
- Converting customer purchase orders into sales orders in the Navision database
- Multi-tasking
- Working with Accounting on customer credits and invoicing
- Customer comments in the AMAVK intranet and requesting RMA's as needed
- Heavy filing
- Month end tasks
- Working with Planning and Shipping to ensure products are built and shipped to the customer in a timely manner
Skills:
- Giving full attention to what customers and salesmen are requesting
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work with others
- Must be able to manage one's own time and the time of others
- Must be computer literate
- Possess knowledge in the production and shipping process in a manufacturing type setting
- Have an understanding of a BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Have an understanding of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 documentation
- Must be able to gain the understanding of our internal LNS (Logical Numbering System

- 401K with automatic enrollment after the first payroll at 1%, then will increase by 1% every January until they reach 4 %. AVK matches up to 4%.
- They can opt to contribute more, or they can opt out but must be done before the end of the first payroll.
- Short-term disability eligibility is 1st of the month following one year of service.
- Employee only coverage for all the benefits is 100% paid for except for the Aflac.
- Dependent coverage for medical & vision is 100% paid for when the employee reaches their 5th year of employment.
- Employee will always pay for dental dependent coverage.
