At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we are looking for motivated candidates for Custodian positions at our premiere Client in Ringwood, IL. 
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian/ Maintenance Worker to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. The Custodian will be responsible for ensuring that common areas, including lunchrooms, offices, meeting rooms, and restrooms, are kept in excellent condition.
Position: Custodian
Location: Ringwood, IL
Pay Rate: $20.70 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning duties, including vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, and wiping down high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles located in hallways and common areas.
• Clear recycling gondolas and transport materials to the compactor.
• Periodically clean and organize offices.
• Execute additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as instructed or requested by management.

Safety Requirements:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves and masks.
• Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Tools/Equipment Utilized:

• Vacuum cleaners
• Cleaning supplies (cleaners, disinfectants, etc.)
• Mops and brooms
• Trash bins and recycling containers
• Personal protective equipment (PPE)

Projects/Tasks:

• Regular deep cleaning projects based on a rotating schedule.
• Special cleaning tasks for events or after maintenance activities.
• Participation in seasonal cleaning initiatives.

Specialized Training:

• On-the-job training will be provided; previous experience in custodial work is beneficial.

Experience Required:

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Job responsibilities:

2. Perform routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
3. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
4. Respond to cleaning requests from management promptly.
