What's a typical day as a Distribution & Logistics Specialist II? You'll:
  • Monitoring and resolving AOG situations efficiently.
  • Pulling and issuing parts to fulfill orders for service centers, spare parts sales, and distribution.
  • Preparing materials for shipment while adhering to FAA regulations.
  • Maintaining compliance with Dangerous Goods handling regulations.
  • Ensuring proper documentation accompanies shipments, including exportation compliance.
  • Utilizing inventory management systems such as Corridor or SAP to manage transactions.
  • Addressing distribution discrepancies and ensuring clear communication for resolution.
  • Supporting facility maintenance and housekeeping.
 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain forklift and material handling equipment certification.
  • Ability to pass a DOT medical exam.
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory systems; Corridor/SAP experience preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends.
  • One year of experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, or receiving.
  • Experience in material services, inventory control, or production control.
