Construction Accountant
Location: Pontiac, MI
Pay Rate: $25+hour
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Temporary to Hire

Position Summary
Kelly Services has partnered with a premier company in search of an Accountant in the construction industry to join their team. Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist with a solid background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our client's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, bills, and other clerical duties. Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Process and monitor invoicing activities.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including opening and reviewing bills for accuracy.
  • Enter bills into QuickBooks and ensure timely payments.
  • Track and confirm invoicing by checking daily timecards and recording activities of 16 crews.
  • Maintain accurate records of time and materials used in projects.
  • Produce and review invoices with management before sending them out.
  • Handle collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Focus on residential projects and perform job costing.


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience using QuickBooks.
  • Strong background in the construction industry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
