Contract & Budget Manager
Kelly Science and Clinical is hiring a Contract and Budget Manager for one of our growing site network partners. This is a permanent position that offers full benefit options and growth opportunities.
- Location: Remote - must have home office available and set up. Must be open to traveling if needed.
- Salary: based on years of industry and site budget and contract experience. (range could be from 65-85k)
The Contracts and Budgets Manager is responsible for management and negotiation of Site and Vendor Contracts. This includes drafting, negotiating, and executing site contracts or needed vendor contracts, reviewing client or vendor proposed changes to contract terms or budgets and maintaining productive relationships with clients and internal staff.
Job Description:
- Serves as lead project member for all study budget and contracts across all clinics/ sites
- Serves as main point of contact to discuss study financials to clinic staff, management, and client
- Conducts contract/ budget negotiation as well as management of contract execution
- 3+ years of Clinical Research Industry Experience; Ideally in a SMO, CRO or Sponsor setting
- 3+ years Clinical Trial Budget Experience
- Experience working with multiple therapeutics areas (Endocrinology, Neurology, Vaccine, etc)
- Knowledge of clinical research contract, budget and general clinical research terminology and processes required
- Knowledge of ICH and local regulatory authority drug research and development regulations required
- Experience in Salesforce
- Detail oriented and proactively able to identify discrepancies in contract language or budgets
- Excellent numeric skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Able to work with a team or individually depending on tasks required to be performed
