Kelly, is seeking a Class 1 Shunt Driver for a permanent position at our client  the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada. We are looking for an energetic and safety-minded Class 1 - Shunt Driver to become a part of our clients team in Goodwood.

Position: Class 1 - Shunt Driver
Location: Goodwood, Nova Scotia
About the Role: The Shunt Driver will be responsible for operating a shunt truck to deliver and pick up sea containers at various locations within our steel yard. To excel in this role, you will need at least 3 years of Canadian driving experience and a clean driving record.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and load products efficiently
• Safely navigate the vehicle
• Ensure the safety and security of all cargo
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
• Report any vehicle deficiencies to the proper manager

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Class 1 License
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, go up and down stairs and proficient with hand tools
