Quality Analyst – Maple Plain, MN
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team in Maple Plain, MN. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure compliance with all applicable ISO and company standards. This role involves testing products at various stages of production (before, in-process, and final stages) to ensure quality levels are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests on raw materials, production, waste treatment, and raw material samples using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, titration, plating apparatus, Atomic Absorption (AA), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), Ion Chromatography (IC), UV-Visible Spectroscopy, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and Cyclic Voltammetry Stripping (CVS).
- Accurately enter data into SAP and calculate necessary batch adjustments. Data analysis and reporting for customers and relevant parties.
- Ensure all testing procedures are in compliance with ISO, quality, safety, and company standards.
- Maintain samples of lots and detailed records of testing results and observations.
- Collaborate with production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
- College degree with Chemistry Lab bench training required.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
- Experience with various laboratory equipment and testing methods.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with SAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Details:
- Mon – Fri, 6am – 2:30pm. Can flex a bit if needed.
- Temp to hire (3-6 month convert to direct hire)
- $25 - $29/hour, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience.
