Pay Rate: $25.29 per hour
Contract Length: 3 years

What's a typical day as Career Connectedness Coordinator (EMIT)? You'll be:
  • Planning and executing career development activities, including employer visits, networking opportunities, and job placement workshops.
  • Overseeing the establishment of new job recruiting pipelines to enhance student employment opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract students to program-related experiential education.
  • Recruiting and maintaining employer participation in experiential education programs.
  • Assisting students in developing career-related skills such as resume writing, job search, and interviewing techniques.
  • Maintaining records and program data on employers and students participating in experiential education within the college's online systems.
  • Collaborating with faculty coordinators to review and approve training agreements and learning objectives.
  • Participating in Program Advisory Committees and Career Technical Education committees to improve program outcomes.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Have three years of experience in student placement, career services, advising, customer service, workforce development, or related fields.
  • Possess knowledge of Career Services and marketing strategies.
  • Have the ability to recruit program participants and work effectively in a multi-culturally diverse environment.
  • Are skilled in interpersonal communication and public relations.
  • Have experience with engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology industries, and employers (preferred).
  • Have experience working with multicultural students and staff (preferred).
  • Are familiar with Salesforce or CRM systems (preferred).
  • Are available to work Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
