Sourcing Specialist
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG , a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist at one of our Global clients in West Palm Beach, FL or remote. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a Kelly OCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. As a Sourcing Specialist placed with Kelly OCG you will be responsible for the following:
POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • The New Product Sourcing specialist will be responsible for coordinating supply chain activities for new product launches at the site located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
  • This will include interaction with multiple product development and supply chain teams in the US and Europe.
  • The primary mission of this role is to track vendor deliverables, while facilitating activities to achieve project milestones and supply chain objectives.
  • This position reports to the NPD Sourcing Manager and will be based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 15 travel will be required.
POSITION DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collect supplier pricing and conduct supplier down-selections.
  • Schedule and lead weekly supply chain project review meetings.
  • Track action items and ensure timely completion, communicate, and talk with suppliers directly as much as 2 times per week.
  • Partner with suppliers and sourcing team to track ordering, delivery, and receipt of component stock to support finished good production launch.
  • Coordinate the supply chain launch requirements between three different product development teams located in Switzerland, France, and the US
  • Develop and maintain project plan to support on time launch of new product introductions Additional duties may be assigned by the Manager
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years in project management leadership roles Expertise in Sourcing, Purchasing, and Planning Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence/collaborate at all levels in the organization
  • Change leadership expertise
  • Customer focus internal external
  • Adaptable to meet rapidly changing priorities
  • Strong skill set in Microsoft Office: Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 2 year college degree should be in Business, Management, or other related field of study.
