Description

Test Validation Technician
Supporting steering / suspension / brakes / ADAS related systems.

  • Run system level integration and qualification testing.
  • Compose defects when found during testing.
  • Support development of automated testing.
  • Support data collection, testing, and reporting for defect root cause.
  • Run bench verification testing and record results.
  • Support Test engineers with testing, debugging and test case generation.
  •  Support Test Team with test setup activities: For example, analyzing schematics and having boards modified by the prototype lab for test and debug work.
  • Read and understand test cases and determine if they are feasible.
  • Support debug and testing on the DSPACE HIL bench.
  • Run automated testing on the DSPACE HIL bench.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in embedded software verification or similar experience
  • Experience with debug of CAN, XCP, SPI, and SENT Tool knowledge: Oscilloscope, multi meter, GPIB, PTC
  • Associates degree in technical field preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand microprocessor and other IC datasheets
  • Ability to Analyze customer DVM s and testing requirements
  • Ability to use tools such as Vector CANoe and CANalyzer to emulate vehicle CAN interface
  • Ability to run test scripts for system integration testing.
