Job Posting: Manufacturing Technician
Location:
 Juncos, PR
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $12.00 per hour
Shifts: Must be available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 12-hour shifts

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. Under direct supervision, you will perform processes in the manufacturing area according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Set up and prepare equipment for operation.
  • Manage internal support operations, including stocking items, autoclaving, and tracking inventory.
  • Assist in manufacturing operations as needed.
  • Prepare media and buffers, dispense raw materials, and record transactions in appropriate systems.
  • May operate process automation and building monitoring systems.
  • Act as a safety representative when needed.
  • Understand and follow established procedures.
  • Document activities appropriately using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and safety requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of technical/functional procedures related to the manufacturing area.
  • Familiarity with routine activities associated with the role.
  • Ability to apply basic job skills and knowledge of procedures and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, including fact-finding and data verification.
  • Ability to recognize when deviations from accepted practices are necessary.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations (MS Office, email, and Computer-Based Training).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in a GMP or regulated environment is preferred.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
