Job Title: QC Inspector - Sample Management- Richmond Virginia
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our Quality Control team. This position is responsible for performing sample management duties for the quality control laboratory, ensuring the proper logging, retention, and reconciliation of samples, as well as the disposal of raw materials and stability samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes and is comfortable working in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track the receipt, storage, and retention of raw materials, stability samples, and finished products in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform sample reconciliation and ensure proper documentation of all activities.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure product quality and compliance with cGMP standards.
- Safely dispose of raw materials and stability samples in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date sample inventories and records.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal quality standards.
- Associate's degree in Science or a related field.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cGMP practices and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
