- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
- Must be willing to work frequent overtime (up to 7 days a week)

- Pathway to a Permanent Role: After 90 days, you may qualify to be directly hired by Cummins with higher pay and benefits

What You'll Do: As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting Cummins' production. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and inspecting braking system components, such as cam brakes and ASA, using the necessary tools, gauges, and equipment
- Picking parts based on a kitting manual and creating kits for the production areas in the plant
- Maintaining inventory integrity through daily cycle counts and meticulous record-keeping
- Monitoring quality and making appropriate adjustments to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, while ensuring that all equipment is securely locked out when not in use
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle automotive components of various sizes
- Dependability, punctuality, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are essential
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to required Personal Protective Equipment
Physical Demands:
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Regular requirements to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, reach, and handle objects
- Close vision and focus adjustment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in resolving production issues
