Description

Administrative Support Specialist
Join an established logistics company as an Administrative Support Specialist for a large Dispatch group in Atlanta, GA (30349). 
This is a temporary assignment that could become permanent 
Starting pay is $!9/hr
You will work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, assisting in various administrative and communication tasks to ensure smooth dispatch operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
•    Communication: Assist in communication between drivers and dispatchers, relaying messages and updates as needed.
•    Monitoring: Track the location and status of vehicles and shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
•    Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate records in dispatch systems, including schedules, routes, and delivery statuses.
•    Scheduling: Assist in the scheduling of deliveries and pickups, ensuring optimal routes and times.
•    Problem-Solving: Resolve issues that arise during transportation, such as delays or route changes, and communicate these to relevant parties.
•    Customer Service: Provide support to customers by answering inquiries and providing updates on delivery status.
•    Documentation: Prepare and organize necessary paperwork for shipments, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
•    Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
•    Assisting Dispatchers: Support dispatchers in their daily tasks, which may include administrative duties or coordinating with other team members.

Qualifications & Skills
•    Proficiency in Microsoft software, including Excel.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ten key experience is a plus; must be able to type efficiently.
