Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19 hr


What's a typical day as an Accounts Payable Clerk? You'll be:
• Monitoring A/P email and corresponding with vendors
• Maintaining the A/P office filing system.
• Tracking all incoming invoices for monthly A/P accrual.
• Preparing A/P accrual each month and submitting it to accounting.
• Receiving, processing, matching, and verifying invoices.
• Performing data entry associated with accounts payables.
• Tracking and recording purchase orders.
• Reviewing and reconciling invoice discrepancies.
• Importing credit card transactions daily into 3rd party software Expensify.
• Reconciling credit card statement each month to all employee expense reports in Expensify.
• Working closely with employees to verify receipt of services and create goods receipt notices.
• Confirming all invoices have the required back-up documents each week for the payment run and submitting them to the Controller for review.
• Tracking all intercompany reimbursements and preparing bill back invoices in A/R.
• Assisting accounting with some light accounting duties as needed.


Requirements: 
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Are able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Have a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Are able to follow up with vendors or employees to complete tasks.
• Are able to follow instructions regarding the performance of administrative tasks.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
