Our QA IT Director role is accountable for:

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive quality strategies for large-scale enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and product roadmaps
• Leading the creation and execution of sophisticated test plans—both manual and automated—focused on complex quality challenges, including architecture-level issues, dependency-heavy products, inadequate test data, and suboptimal test environments. These plans may require collaboration across multiple quality and technical roles
• Partnering with senior product managers, developers, operations teams, external partners, and customer service leaders to ensure that quality requirements are clearly understood and fully met throughout the product lifecycle. Enforce and maintain rigorous quality standards across the organization
• Providing guidance and mentorship to QA teams, offering expertise in technical problem-solving and quality methodologies. Drive the continuous professional development of the quality assurance team by fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation
• Playing a key role in influencing the quality approach for new product initiatives, legacy system updates, and cross-departmental integrations, ensuring high standards of quality are consistently met

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ Years of Quality Assurance Experience: A proven track record in QA leadership, with over 10 years in quality assurance roles, and at least 5+ years in leadership positions managing enterprise-level projects and teams.
• Strong expertise in building and scaling test automation frameworks, including functional and regression testing, for large, complex systems. Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or industry-leading alternatives is required.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Ruby, or C#), with the ability to create and troubleshoot automation scripts and frameworks. Expertise in debugging, problem-solving, and developing robust automation solutions is essential.
• Extensive experience working within Agile or iterative development environments, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices. Experience in leading Agile transformations is a plus.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) methodologies, using frameworks such as Gherkin and tools like Cucumber, is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and senior management. Proven track record in leading, mentoring, and growing high-performing QA teams
