Technically supports the Noninvasive Vascular Lab in providing noninvasive vascular studies in coordination with the department's medical and technical team and in compliance with established standards
The hourly rate range for this position is $52.96-$91.73. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Minimum Education: • Certification of completion of a sonography program, with emphasis in vascular technology, OR. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • At least 24 months experience performing noninvasive vascular studies. Required License/Certification: • Must have an appropriate credential. Acceptable credentials are: • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT); • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)]; • If the vascular technologist does not have this credential upon hire, the credential should be obtained within 1 (one) year from hire date. • Valid BCLS certification for the healthcare provider • Fire and Safety Certification. If employee does not have card upon hire one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
