Description
This position will provide provisioning services to the USC Health Science campus end users with primary focus on continual service improvement while working with the Information Services Security Team to ensure policies are being enforced. This team member will also: Work as an analyst in efforts of on-boarding and centralizing provisioning of applications/resources onto a standardized provisioning solution; Work with other IT teams to gather information necessary to identify the best method for access provisioning and documenting business/technical processes surrounding user access provisioning and identity management; Configure application profiles within the access provisioning tools based on gathered requirements; Set up and manage automated as well as manual provisioning workflows.
Essential Duties:
- Analyze, design, oversee development, test and implement access to Health Information Services systems and accounts for customers
- Creates, recommends, updates and contributes to detailed documentation on the User Provisioning process, rules, responsibilities, processes and procedures.
- Document user provisioning use cases, user provisioning requirements, user provisioning designs, user provisioning test plans and user provisioning go-live plans.
- Understands technology and application development methodologies used across all business units to perform systems analysis, testing and debugging
- Assist with validation processes of the data integrity.
- Contributes to initiatives and programs such as role based provisioning.
- Handles trouble tickets and requests from customers for access management incidents.
- Conducts audits or reviews of access compliance under direction of manager
- Provide Secondary support for HelpDesk as required”

Required Qualifications:
- Req High school or equivalent
- Req Associate's degree Degree in related field or equivalent (preferably a degree with emphasis on security)
- Req Specialized/technical training IT related certification.
- Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
- Req 1 year; Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience Help Desk experience.
- Req 1 year Healthcare and/or academic-related software experience.
- Req 1 year Technical writing/documentation.
- Req Experience with Incident Management Systems.
- Req Technical experience with providing user access natively for Active Directory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Req Must be able to follow policies and procedures to assess and avoid risk in the environment.
- Req Demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PPT) especially Microsoft Excel.
- Req Must be customer-focused and detail-oriented
- Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
The hourly rate range for this position is $29.00 - $45.20.
