Kamehameha Schools is currently looking for a Senior ERP Engineer to work closely with our business units to support their changes & modifications to their ERP systems.  We are moving in the direction of implementing Oracle solutions.  So you will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation, the minute you step into our doors!

Our ideal candidate will have…

  • 7+ years of experience in supporting or implementing ERPs. Experience with ERP systems config, module integration & data migration.
  • Must have solid Oracle and/or Finance domain business knowledge.
  • Strong customer relationship/support skills

This is a full-time, hybrid role based out of our Kawaiaha'o Plaza location.

Our targeted salary range is $112,200 - $145,600, depending on experience level.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer relocation assistance, visa sponsorship or remote working arrangements.

Job Summary

Manage support activities related to the technical aspects of ERP systems supporting various functional domains.  Lead and participate in the evaluation and impact of any changes or updates to technical configurations that ERP vendor's deliver. Work closely with business units to implement these changes and modifications to the system while following KS standards. 

Essential Responsibilities

System Security

  • Follow KS IT process/procedure controls to ensure separation of duties, proper sign-off, and documentation of critical business processes.
  • Adhere to security and application management policies and support resolution of ERP/HCM system security issues and errors.
  • Maintain requested security configuration changes, ensuring compliance with internal IT control processes, and work with the Information Security Office during audits.
  • Complete routine security transactions, including access change requests, user setup, and general security administration

Technical Configuration/Development

  • Prior experience in a senior or technical Lead role, specializing in ERP or HCM systems.
  • Relevant technical and configuration experience with with industry leading technology applications such as Oracle Fusion or Workday.
  • Experience with DEVOPS methodology and practices servicing as a technical expert in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and supporting test and deployment phases.
  • Plan and conduct reviews with business, technology, and external partners, incorporating feedback and ensuring thorough documentation of technical designs, requirements, and unit testing.
  • Provide technical support to functional teams for ERP/HCM systems, including code development, system configuration, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

Integration Support/Development

  • Work with Cross-functional and technical teams to design, build, maintain, and test integrations for ERP systems. 
  • Assist with troubleshooting integration errors and issues.
  • Update and maintain integration vendor requested or required change requests.
  • Partner with Enterprise Integrations team in defining integration requirements and testing support
  • Recommend integration changes that would result in more cost effective/efficient operations.

General Support/Troubleshooting

  • Direct and assist ERP engineers and technical stakeholders in delivering operational and project-related change requests and incident resolutions.
  • Partner with functional teams to understand processes, monitor gaps for continuous improvement, and conduct testing for change requests, integrations, security, and technical configurations.
  • Ensure documentation is current and accurate, coordinate system upgrades and integrations, and analyze data to meet business needs.
  • Support legacy systems' archived data requests, participate in ERP/HCM system user groups, and stay updated on ERP/HCM system changes and new solutions.
  • Contribute to ERP/HCM system upgrades, including defect fixes, patches, and application enhancements, and maintain knowledge of relevant technology trends such as AI and ML.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management Information Systems or a related area.
  • Minimum 7 years of IT experience, with expertise in supporting and implementing HCM/Payroll, FSCM, or ERP systems,
  • Proficiency in ERP system configuration, module integration, and data migration.
  • Ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly with excellent analytical/technical aptitude.
  • Ability to multi-task easily and juggle priorities in an evolving environment.
  • Experience contributing to projects and managing assigned tasks.
  • Objective-oriented with dedication and commitment to job duties.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with good customer relationship & support skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
  • Ability to mentor/train other colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Oracle custom development in VBCS, OIC, APEX and PCS.
  • Experience as an Oracle Cloud Technical Lead, specializing in Oracle Fusion EPM, ERP, FAW, or EDM)
  • Workday Development in Studio and Extend.
  • Working knowledge of integration technologies and capabilities.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Frequently sits, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light or fine manipulation, talk or hear.
  • Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

Working Conditions (including Environmental Conditions)

  • This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
  • Work is conducted in an office/school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.
  • Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours are often required to meet goals and objectives
