Job Summary

Leads the integrated strategic planning efforts with the Director, Engagement and Analytic for Kamehameha Schools' (KS) enterprise digital channels, including websites and audience engagement platforms to meet KS organizational and enterprise Communications goals. Works with engagement and analytics team on implementation to reinforce and invigorate Hawaiian cultural and language vibrancy while strengthening engagement around KS' goal of nurturing ʻōiwi leaders. Contributes to the team's ability to generate impact, influencing public perception, stakeholder relationships and organizational success. Optimize channels for brand consistency while balancing user and business needs and conducts periodic reviews of systems and workflows.  

Essential Responsibilities
 

Integrated Digital Strategy and Development 

  • Develops plans that align and coordinate digital channels to create a cohesive and impactful customer experience.  

  • Researches and analyzes user behavior to identify optimized layouts and interactions based on key campaign performance metrics. 

  • Explores, identifies, and makes recommendations for diverse emerging channels where digital content can be accessed, such as Google search results and virtual assistants.

  • Ensures digital touchpoints comply with brand guidelines. 

  • Continuously monitor trends and industry best practices to identify new opportunities to enhance digital operations throughout the organization. 

  • Works with Senior Audience Engagement Specialist to optimize campaign performance based on key metrics and advocate for recommendations based on analytics insights. 
     

Web Strategy and Optimization

  • Develops a strategic plan for the website's structure, content, and functionality. 

  • Provides implementation support and guidance for web strategy initiatives.

  • Converts analytics insights into recommendations for optimizing SEO strategies, advising content teams on creating SEO-friendly content. 

  • Collaborates with the marketing team to implement and enhance SEM strategies based on data-driven insights. 

  • Works with the web team to optimize CMS workflows and streamline content publishing processes.

Strategic Audience Engagement and Collaboration

  • Collaborates with Senior Audience Engagement Specialist to identify opportunities that leverage an optimized website combined with the personalization capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.  

  • Understands and segments Kamehameha Schools' diverse audience groups and identifies opportunities to deliver personalized content and experiences to each segment.

  • Regularly reviews and refines the strategy to enhance user experience and effectively meet the needs of diverse audience segments. 

  • Supports the engagement and analytics team in cross-functional collaborations, advocating for data-driven recommendations. 

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to refine the purpose, goals and target audience of the Kamehameha Schools website, in support of larger organizational objectives.  

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related field. 

  • Understanding and experience with Hawaiian communities and topics of relevance to Kamehameha Schools as a Native Hawaiian organization. 

  • Familiarity of effective web design and development and web content management systems.  

  • Experience with Salesforce or other audience engagement platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex marketing and communications needs into functional solutions in digital channels.  

  • Experience with channel analytics and reporting.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively.  

  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and manage large, complex projects.  

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  

Preferred qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, or a minimum of 3 years plus two Salesforce certifications. 

  • Knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Hawaiian, history, culture and worldview as it relates to the operations of Kamehameha Schools as a Native Hawaiian organization. Familiarity with Kamehameha Schools' mission, vision and lines of business

Physical requirements

  • Frequently sit, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light/fine manipulation. 

  • Occasionally stand/walk, write by hand, and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds. 

  • Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach/work above shoulder, grasp forcefully. 

Working conditions

  • This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business. 

  • Work is conducted in an office/school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces. 

  • Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours may be required to meet goals and objectives.

97,600.00 - 139,300.00 Annual

Based on the compensation range provided below, salaries are commensurate with job-related experience, skills and competencies, education, internal equity, length of work year, and other organizational needs.
