PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE A PLUS
Job Summary:
Would you like to fill an important role on a CDC research study to see how well the flu vaccine works? This position lasts about 4-6 months during flu season and enrolls patients being seen at Urgent Care with a respiratory illness. We are hiring for 5 Kaiser Permanente Washington clinics.
This posting is for research staff to work at Urgent Care in Seattle. The Research Nurse will review EPIC schedules, screen, consent, administer a questionnaire and collect nose and throat swabs from participants, and a blood draw on a subset of participants.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Requires extreme attention to detail and ability to work well independently and as a part of a team. Experience recruiting participants in a clinical setting is a plus.
Utilizes professional clinical skills, education and/or experience in project planning and implementation of data collection for complex clinical/health research trials. Utilizes professional clinical skills/training for independent decision making
