Job Summary:
Kaiser Permanente is currently looking for a Program Coordinator to coordinate the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatment program throughout the KPMAS region. Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate ABA treatment guidelines and program implementation across KPMAS region.
- Monitor all ABA contracted vendors and authorize appropriate number of visits.
- Collaborates with utilization management to coordinate referral process and ongoing treatment coordination with contracted vendors.
- Build partnerships with contracted BCBA providers to assure proper placement of Kaiser Permanente members and competent implementation of behavior procedures.
- Communicate with contracted providers to assure quality behavioral analytic services are being provided.
- Travel to contracted ABA providers throughout the MAS region and participate in treatment planning meetings to direct appropriate level of care.
- Review ABA referral data, utilization trends, and treatment outcomes from different ABA contracted vendors and present data to Health Plan and MAPMG leadership as requested.
- Review ABA community providers and make recommendations to contract with appropriate high quality vendors.
- Conduct functional analysis including any relevant assessment/testing if necessary to develop optimal treatment plan and functional goals.
- Perform ongoing adjustments to comprehensive treatment plans as needed to aid in the behavior reduction and skill acquisition of members seeking ABA treatment with outside vendors.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness of contracted ABA vendors and make treatment recommendations as needed to assure high quality, time efficient, and effective treatment approaches are being implemented by contracted ABA vendors.
- Effectively meet with members and families periodically as needed to evaluate satisfaction with contracted ABA providers and assess need for continued treatment.
- Make recommendations to change treatment plan as needed.
- Facilitate training to members and staff as needed around ASD and ABA treatment.

Basic Qualifications: Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments, Verbal Behavior, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), implementing Functional Communication Training (FCT), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), PECS, Escape Extinction, Non-contingent Reinforcement (NCR), and various Differential Reinforcement procedures required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience managing ABA providers in the competent implementation of behavior procedures required.
Education
- Masters degree in behavior analysis, rehabilitation psychology, special education, social work or a related field required.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral OR Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Travel as needed, up to 25%.
- Be team oriented yet able to work autonomously and efficiently.
- Learn multiple new systems quickly and with precision.
- Have excellent communication, both written and in-person.
- Doctoral degree in behavior analysis, rehabilitation psychology, special education, social work or a related field.
