Customer Engineer Power Platforms
Location: Remote U.S.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 Based on experience

We have immediate opportunities for a Microsoft Power Platform Engineer with expertise in Power Apps, Canvas Apps, and Admin & Governance of the platform to join our team as a Customer Engineer (CE). A CE's work with some of the largest, usually F1000. The role involves assisting customers with design and architectural decisions to create tailored Power Apps solutions, troubleshooting any issues in existing applications, and developing governance strategies and controls tailored to the specific needs of a clients' organization. The ideal candidate should bring experience with a strong focus on different governance strategies and best practices for creating Power Apps. The successful candidate will be adept at working within the Power Apps studio and Power Platform Admin Center.
Primary work includes:
- Standard Product Work Shops - Training
- In-Depth Product Reviews - White Board (Chalk Talk) Sessions
- Health Checks / Assessments
- Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
- Product Upgrade / Migration Assessments
- Systems Performance Reviews
- Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support, and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues raised to the highest levels of management
Qualifications
- Intermediate to Expert level experience in Power Platform governance, administration, and development of Power Apps.
- Advanced skills in navigating and configuring the Power Platform Admin Center and Center of Excellence Starter Kit.
- Strong knowledge of Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Power Platform technologies.
- Proven experience in Power Platform administration and support with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Experience in delivering technical training and strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to engage with key stakeholders and team members.
- Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.
- Previous consulting or customer-facing role experience is highly valued.
- Deep technical acumen with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Enthusiasm for modern engineering tools and practices.
Required Hands on Experience:
- Power Platform Admin & Governance
- Administer and support the Power Platform environment, including Power Apps (canvas apps), Power Automate, and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
- In-depth knowledge of Dataverse, Power Platform governance, environment strategy, and Power Platform Admin Centers.
- Constructing different Environment Strategies (types of environments, purpose, security roles, etc.).
- Knowledge of licensing distinctions (standard vs premium), capacity planning, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) within Power Platform.
- Analytical skills to handle analytics and reporting tasks within PPAC and M365 audit logs.
- Capable of implementing and managing a Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Power Platform Skill Set
- Develop and maintain solutions using Power Apps canvas app development and architecture.
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) through Solutions.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting Power Apps and Power Automate flows.
- Familiarity with data integration, particularly between Power Apps and Power Automate with Dataverse and SharePoint.
- Expertise in delivering and developing technical training materials.
- Ability to guide customers in architecture and design decisions for building custom Power Apps solutions.
