    Certification Details
  • Certifications Required include: BLS
  • Certifications Preferred include: ONS Chemo
  • Additional certification and licensure requirements may be stipulated per unit specifics.
    Job Details
  • Staffing Ratios - Goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
  • Weekends - variable based on unit needs
  • No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff
  • Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
  • First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor
  • Patient Age group includes: Adults, Geriatrics
  • Patient Diagnoses include: Surgical Oncology (breast, thyroid, melanoma), Hepatobiliary (liver, pancreas, spleen, biliary tract cancers, neuroendocrine), Colorectal (colon, rectal cancer), Plastics (reconstructive breast cancer or sarcoma)
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details include: Chemotherapy, Blood transfusions, IV Antibiotics, Oncologic emergencies, cytokine release syndrome, Insulin drips, Heparin drips
  • Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
  • COMPUTERIZED CHARTING - EPIC

  • 2 Years of Experience Required
