Certification Details
• Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS; NIH Preferred
• Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care

• IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.

Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 Year Experience
• Telemetry – on unit monitoring
• IV insulin protocols and Tirtration of insulin drips
• Feeding tube care and management
• Pre/post hemodialysis management
• Blood product administration
• Monitoring Chemotherapy
• Heparin protocols
• Manage cardia drips – no titration
• External CPA/BiPAP
• High Flow Nasal Cannula
• Isolation Precautions

Schedule Information
• Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
• Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, they are required to make up the day during the pay period or the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract
• Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract, which may include consecutive weekends based on the greatest need
• Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

Unit Specific Information
• Unit Information: Medical PCU - almost ICU level acuity - multiple cardiac drips. Stable vents. Multi-organ failure, liver failure, pulmonary

• Proof of valid auto insurance required for certain facilities
