- Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 Year Experience
- Telemetry – on unit monitoring
- IV insulin protocols and Tirtration of insulin drips
- Feeding tube care and management
- Pre/post hemodialysis management
- Blood product administration
- Monitoring Chemotherapy
- Heparin protocols
- Manage cardia drips – no titration
- External CPA/BiPAP
- High Flow Nasal Cannula
- Isolation Precautions
- Schedule Information
- Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
- Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, they are required to make up the day during the pay period or the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract
- Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract, which may include consecutive weekends based on the greatest need
- Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit Information: Medical PCU - almost ICU level acuity - multiple cardiac drips. Stable vents. Multi-organ failure, liver failure, pulmonary
- Additional Details
- Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted.
- Required documents vary per unit and need to be checked per a reference spreadsheet.
- Proof of valid auto insurance required for certain facilities
- Travelers must complete various specific forms and agreements.
