    Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 [SENSITIVE INFORMATION REMOVED]
  • IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Please only submit candidates that are okay with these requirements.
  • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
  • Unit Information: Urology, Plastic Surgery, orthopedic oncology, hospitalist
    Job Requirements
  • Must be flexible with weekend requirements, weekend requirement will be based on unit needs. Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract.
  • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
  • Certification Requirements: BCLS
  • Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Experience, Strong Urology Skillset, and IV Start
  • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
    Schedule Information
