    Job Details
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
  • IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
  • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
  • *** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract. If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
  • *** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
  • Unit Information: Urology, Plastic Surgery, orthopedic oncology, hospitalist
    Job Requirements
  • Certification Requirements: BCLS
  • Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Experience, Strong Urology Skillset, and IV Start
  • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
    Schedule Information
  • MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
