    Certification Details
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required, AHA ONLY.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support required for all candidates, AHA ONLY.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required, AHA ONLY.
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required, Only AHA NRP is accepted.
  • CHEMO - Chemotherapy certification-check for requirement.
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course-check for requirement.
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring-check for requirement.
    Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
  • Prescreening question: This is a CVPICU unit that is willing to take PICU RNs as long as they are comfortable with training CVPICU. Is your traveler comfortable with this?
  • Locals not accepted.
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a ~~$3.00 bill rate~~ bump per hour.
  • IN LICENSE AND CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT.
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:1-2
    Schedule Information
  • Shift Requirements: 3x12's or 4x12's, Every other weekend and 50% of Holidays.
  • Will accept PICU RN and train on CVPICU.
    Unit Specific Information
  • This is a CVPICU unit that will accept and train PICU RNs.
  • PICU RNs must be comfortable with training in CVPICU.
    Additional Details
  • Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
  • AHA ONLY certifications. RQI is acceptable.
  • Check cost center to verify required certifications or reach out to system leads for confirmation.
  • HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
  • Online Verification of License must include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date), verification through primary source.
