- Job Details
- Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
- The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
- IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a bill rate bump per hour.
- IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
- Job Requirements
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS.
- TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
- First Time Travelers Accepted.
- Skillset Requirements: Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath Pulls.
- Skillset Preferences: Conscious Sedation and Telemetry, 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Staffing Ratios: 1:4.
- Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
- Schedule Information
- Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.
- Charge coverage: Based on operational needs; unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
- Additional Details
- Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted.
- Online Verification of License required within 30 days before start date through primary source.
- HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
