Job Details
• IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
• Travelers with permanent residence in Indiana, will be offered $15 below the current bill rate
• MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT
• IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Please only submit candidates that are okay with these requirements
• First Time Travelers Accepted
• Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
• *** Call-Ins: If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
• *** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources
• Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6

Job Requirements
• Medical Surgical Experience; Minimum 2 Years
• Skillset Preferences: IV Start
• Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
