Job Details
• Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
• The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
• **Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule.
• These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline.
• Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**.
• IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
• Ratios: 1:1.
• Years of experience REQ: 18 months.
• First timers accepted: Yes.
• Weekend REQ: Yes, every other.
• Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, NIH.
• Is on-call REQ? No.
• Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes.
• Travelers are first to float.
• 90% of the time will go to 4E to help with their ICU pts.
• Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed.
• Pending License accepted: No.
• IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB.
• RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek.
• 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek.
• 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
• Special Requirements:
• Unit Information: Primary Population: Pulmonary, Renal, Sepsis, Neuro, Trauma- this makes up for about 95% of our patients.
• We are also the COVID ICU for most complex Covid patients. rooms are negative pressurized.

• On-call requirements: No.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs required.
• Travelers are first to float.
• Block schedule may be accommodated.
