Head of Business Development - GEI
Key Purpose
Develop, implement and lead the commercial agenda and strategy for the Food sector in collaboration with other commercial leads across N. America to drive growth across the business as a whole.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Develop a Business Unit specific commercial plan encompassing Keep, Grow, Win philosophy
- Develop a compelling value proposition and ‘go to market' strategy for associated Business Units
- Grow and maintain 5-year pipeline across current and target clients
- Develop Value Proposition using NOSE per opportunity detailing compelling needs, outcomes and solutions across all opportunities
- Develop comprehensive evidence based collateral specific to BU and ISS core value proposition
- Maintain growth agenda in line with ISS NAM governance procedures
- Develop a comprehensive sector focused network and drive C-suite engagement across key current and target clients
- Develop appropriate and compelling talent pipeline of internal and external Business Development Managers /Sales Directors.
Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence:
- Managing Director for Business Unit commercial leadership
- Client interface via dialogue sessions/meetings to determine needs
- Lead Value Proposition/ NOSE workshop to determine outcomes and solutions
- SMEs collaboration for solution design excellence
- Project management updates for North America Board and EGM
- Mentor BMs and SDs on strategic bids to improve their knowledge and experience
- Be a leader within with Commercial Senior Leadership Team, contributing to and driving the NAM growth agenda
- Mentor and develop commercial support individuals and teams
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- 5+ years bidding experience including leading $30M+ bid opportunities
- Undertaken advanced VP/NOSE training and evidence of application
- Demonstrable evidence of leading teams to achieve winning bids
- Demonstrable commitment to ongoing training and development
- Degree or equivalent level of education
- Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Travel is 50%

The annual salary range for this position is $250000 per year - $275000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
