Employee Services Assistant
Intertek is searching for an Employee Services Assistant to join our HR Department team based from our Arlington Heights, IL office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the HR Department!
The Employee Service Assistant is responsible for assisting with the processing of payroll for multiple legal entities using ADP Vantage and Fusion HCM.
What you'll do:
- Respond to employee inquires of a general HR and/or Payroll nature
- Works with IT Teams in resolving employee system related issues
- Uploads and pulls back up from electronic employee files
- Updates various company systems and intranet as needed
- Process new hires, employee data changes, and terminations in the HRIS and payroll systems
- Completes other projects and special assignments as requested
- Keep up to date on company policies and procedures
- Validates data is accurate in both HRIS and Payroll systems
- Completes other projects and special assignments as requested
- Provide other general administrative support to the department as needed
What it takes to be successful in this role:·
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 to 4 years of relevant payroll experience in a multi-State environment
- Experience working with payroll systems or ADP preferred
- Demonstrated confidentiality for data integrity
- Highly organized and effectively manage multiple items at the same time
- Detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Must be customer service focused to go above and beyond to resolve issues or come up with creative solutions to prevent employee data issues from arising
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
