Intertek Caleb Brett provides specialized Cargo inspection and analytical assessment services to the oil and gas, chemical and other commodities markets. With a global network of laboratories, 24/7 availability, and more than 130 years of exceptional customer service, our customers receive independent inspection and testing with industry-leading customer service.
What are we looking for?
The part time inspector is responsible for gauging barges and shore tanks at various locations and collecting data to compile reports. This position will travel at least 20% of the time.
Shift/Schedule: on call when needed
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $28.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
What you'll do:
- Gauge Barges prior and after loading / discharging
- Gauge Shore Tanks prior and after loading / discharging
- Perform inventories when requested
- Collect data to complete reports
- Pull samples from barges and shore tanks when requested

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Level II Inspector experience
- Will need a TWIC Card
- Will need a reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required.
- Will have to pass a physical
- This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Level ll inspector preferred
